That means I come up with bright ideas for brands that want to get seen and heard by the people who count.

What’s it all about, Charlie?
I truly believe that creativity is what makes us human, and that humans respond best to creative ideas.
Machines can do a pretty good job of mimicking human creativity by cutting-and-shutting ideas together like Lego pieces.
But only humans can come up with ideas that make our minds stand to attention, make us scratch our heads, make our bellies laugh, our eyes cry, our toes tap…
That’s why I’ve spent a great deal of my life getting inspired by listening to music, reading books, watching movies, playing games and admiring art. I’m especially interested in ideas that truly ignite a passion and feeling in people, and concepts that change the way we think about some aspect of the world.
This works really well when it comes to brands and businesses. Every day, our brains get bombarded by marketing. You only have to look at your phone. This bombardment of advertising is easy to ignore because we are desensitised to the noise. We’re a lot more savvy and choosy than we once were, and our attentions aren’t so easily grabbed.
But we’re always looking for something. We, as everyday people, seek excitement, novelty, boldness, originality. We wish for something truly amazing to break through.
